I have back pain and my physical therapist gave this to me to alleviate the pain. I was really annoyed at it but I realized that I wasn’t using it properly, I was sitting on it wrong and when this dawned on me I discovered the real value of the wedge. Now I don’t leave the house without it, and usually use it at conferences especially if I have to sit on hard plastic chairs for hours on end. With my correct posture and the wedge combined I am free of the pain I used to experience.
I highly recommend purchasing this wedge if you want something to help your posture and also to give support if you’re sitting in an uncomfortable chair. I’ve tried several different types of wedges like the ‘tush-cush,’ but it was too soft. Being a professional musician, good posture while seated is a must. I got this wedge and learned how to properly sit on it, it has great features. Foam is firm, supportive and relaxing with just enough give to stay in a comfortable position or even when changing the angle of your seat. It’s 14.5 inches wide and 10 inches deep, with a good thickness, around 2.75 inches at the back and .75 in front. This gave me relief from pain, improved my posture and enhanced my energy. It’s sold at a decent price but if you want a 5-star option you can spend a bit more on the Slant Seat Wedge.
I’m a bit disappointed with this product, it does the job but it’s just not what I expected. It’s a plain wedge of foam, nothing fancy. It’s more of a foam wedge rather than a cushion. It feels awkward and aesthetically not professional enough for office use. It’s comfortable and firm but a little narrow. I’m petite and it’s narrower than my hips.

THIS WORKS LIKE A CHARM. I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE THAT WOULD HELP OUT IN MY CONDITION. I HAD A TOTAL HIP REVISION AND MY DOCTOR SAID THAT I NEEDED TO SIT ON SOMETHING THAT WOULD ELEVATE THE BACK OF MY KNEE AND WOULD BE LOWER THAN MY HIP. THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED.
