- This was made of teak wood which is supposedly water & mold resistant. The wood began to show a lot of damage. It weakened and started to fall apart. Such a shame that I wasted my money on this pillow, I wasted $60 on this. Look for a different bath bench, I think the Medline bath benches seem like they
